Community involvement is an integral part of Nautalex Business Services Inc. We feel that to be an active part of the city of Cambridge we must give back to our community.
Owner, Paul Stewart, his family and the staff at Nautalex are involved in a wide variety of community activities via sponsorship, volunteer hours or in-kind services. Please join us in supporting our community by getting involved. Together we can build strong communities.
Below are some of the many activities we are involved in:
A member of the Cambridge Rotary Club since 1999, Paul Stewart and Nautalex are proud to be a major sponsor of the Cambridge Times™ Rotary Classic. This fun run raises funds to assist the Rotary Centre in the provision of therapy services to over 800 local handicapped children in areas of speech, physio and occupational therapy. The sole beneficiary of the Cambridge Times™ Rotary Classic is the Cambridge Rotary Children’s Centre.
Local Rotary Clubs combine their efforts to organize this annual May race in which close to 500 participants compete in either the 2.5 or 5 km distances. Many thanks go out to the countless volunteers that help make this event run smoothly.
With the combined efforts of our clients and the team at Nautalex, we are proud to contribute to this important community event.
The Cambridge Tour de Grand is an annual local biking event fun for all levels of ability and age. Proceeds from the ride generously support the Helmets for Kids Program making it safe for children to enjoy a healthy bicycling lifestyle.
Nautalex is proud to be a sponsor of this community event which encourages an active cycling lifestyle right here in Cambridge.
To participate, sponsor a rider or volunteer please contact the organizers at the Cambridge Tour de Grand.
Simply known as Dominican Service Projects, Cambridge residents head to the Dominican Republic for a one-week work project. Now in its fifth year, the project grew from a conversation at a Rotary convention. The goal of the Dominican Service Projects is to be able to fund the construction of as many houses and buildings as funding will provide.
At Nautalex, we are pleased to support this worthy event through creation of their website. For more information on how you can help please follow the above link.
Looking to inspire and educate young Canadians to value free enterprise, understand business and economics and develop entrepreneurial and leadership skills? Give back to the future by sponsoring or volunteering for the Junior Achievement Program in your area, like Nautalex does in the Waterloo Region.
Through partnership with educators, business and government, Junior Achievement provides relevant business programs delivered by trained and inspiring volunteers who share their expertise to equip students with the necessary skills to enter tomorrow’s work force.
